Depth Jumps
Description
A classic plyometric exercise and part of the SST Big 100 exercises. This exercise improves speed, jumping ability and explosivity in the high school athlete. Emphasize minimum ground contact time........train the myotactic reflex ! Use the arms to "cock and block" on impact and anticipate the ground. Five "sets" up the "four" heights gives the athlete 20 total foot contacts. For the big (over 120 kg.) guys use the two lower heights only.
