Lateral Sitck Jumps
Description
One of the TEN "plyometric" drills in the SST Big 100. Although not a true plyometric, it is a non-linear drill that, in the "laboratory known as the weightroom", simulates acceleration & deceleration that commonly occurs on the field, the mat, the court or the diamond. These type of drills done with fidelity year-round reduces injury potential in the high school athlete. I recommend three to five sets of five foot contacts.
